THE DOMAIN
The estate is made up of 10 plots of different vintages and different surfaces.
In fact, we wanted to spread out the plantations over the years so that the truffle estate
enters production gradually.
3 TYPES OF OAK TREES
• Green oaks mycorrhized with black truffle “tuber melanosporum”
• Downy oaks mycorrhizal with black truffle “tuber melanosporum”
• Downy oaks mycorrhizal with white truffle “tuber magnatum”
The variety of oak does not vary the quality of the truffle. We can mycorrhize a large
number of trees, but today we recommend 2 types of oaks, the Green and the Pubescent.
The only difference is, one produces faster (Green) but may be for a shorter time than the other.
DOGS
We work exclusively with Australian Shepherds.
The Australian Shepherd has a great capacity for work, in addition to being very robust,
He is a dog of great intelligence, who loves to work and help his master.
We made two litters of 5 puppies each. At 5 months, 3 of the 5 puppies that remained on
the farm found its first truffles.
